ANIDO have imported and distributed animation from the foreign countries to Japan .

Recently, we have distributed four programs of Hungarian short animation films. During to produce DVD and to bring it to market, it had been offered to screen in the movie theater as A and B programs selected from three animators' films and "Hungarian Folk Tales".

Artist's introduction

Dora KERESZTES

Dora Keresztes graduated from the Hungarian University of Arts And Design (now Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) in Budapest as pupil of Istvan Balogh, Gyorgy Haiman, Janos Kass and Erno Rubik. She started her carrier with book designs and illustrations mainly for children and contemporary Hungarian literature. Later on the film and theater posters came to the center of her interest and she was art director and designer of the "Muses" Cultural Magazine in Budapest. Beside her design activity she is an independent fine artist, stage designer and director of animated films. Her works have been shown in exhibitions, biennials and film festivals both in Hungary and abroad. Vice president of the Society of Hungarian Illustrators, film director in PannoniaFilm Studio, co-founder of Hungarian Poster Society. She works as a free lance designer in her own design studio.

Istvan OROSZ

Studied at the Hungarian University of Arts and Design (now Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) in Budapest as pupil of Istvan Balogh and Erno Rubik. After graduating in 1975 he began to deal with theatre as stage designer and animated film as animator and film director. He is known as painter, printmaker, poster designer, and illustrator as well. He likes to use visual paradox, double meaning images and illusionistic approaches while following traditional printing techniques such as woodcutting and etching. He also tries to renew the technique of anamorphosis.
Maria HORVATH

Maria Horvath was born in 1952 and trained as a goldsmith at the Secondary Scool of Art in Pecs. She joined Kecskemetfilm Studio in 1971, at the year of its foundation. In all her films, she tries tocreate a synthesis of poetry and animation.

Lajos NAGY

Lajos Nagy was born in 1956 in Marosvasalhely (Romania). He studied at Faculty of Graphic of Ion Andreecu University of Fine Arts in Kolozvar. Since 1989 he has been working at Kescskemetfilm Studio as an animation Director.
