1966

In those days, through the golden age of feature-length films, it was TV animation's day. Some new participate companies had established. At Toei Animation Studio in Oizumi Tokyo, the Labor Union often held "Anime-Maturi(Animation Festival)"to celebrate the completion of the Animated Feature Films. Some came to the party in costumes and people were enjoying it very much.
Mimeographed "American Festival News"was published along with the festival. This was a forerunner of today's "Animation Letter". (Mimeograhy for both "News"and "Letter"was done by Mr. A.)

Yasuji Mori, Dancing Ballet

The Fourth Animation Festival was held on November 6. People from Mushi Production Tokyo Movie and other productions gathered to spend a day together singing dancing and watching short performances. Although its intention was to get to know and make friends with each other, Hatayama from Tokyo, who participated this festival was fired shortly after.

1967

Anido was founded (April 13)

The news about Hirayama shocked the Animation field and people started saying that they needed more communication between the productions and those in the field. This led the formal foundation of Animation Club and members from different productions such as Toei, A-production P-production and others started the club on April 13.

The members participated the fifth Animation Festival as ANIDO for the first time. They talked about last year's fireing over and over and decided to join the festival not by the name of each production but of ANIDO. They got on the stage with fake mastache and Mr. Ito from P-Production read a poem called "Mastache"on November 23.

1968

Mr.Mikami.The President of ANIDO and Mr.Minami(TAC) called at a house of Mr.Sugimoto who was a famous film collector and they requested to him for the cooperation. The bulletin of "Anime-Dayori"was published. It was made copies with a mimeograph. Except in Tokyo , it was ascertained that the people studying animation existent for example Osaka-AFG, Nagoya-TAC.
The Aurious Adventures of Mr.Wonder Bied

Screenings

• May 11: As the 3rd Showing, we screened "La Bergerre et le Ramoneur(The Aurious Adventures of Mr.Wonder Bied)"and succeed mobilizing record-breaking 600 audiences at Nihon Seinenkan Hall.
• June:The Slide preview of new full length film"Little Norse Prince Valiant"(Director:Isao Takahata) was held and had a meeting with Mr.Isao Takahata who was the director.Other staff decided to do cooperation for the release of it.
• Aug.: After the appreciation of that work, a joint review was held.
• Sept.: The 4th Showing, we screened "The History of Japanese Animation"(Inch."Tasuke Shiobara", "The Spider and the tulip"and others) by Mr.Sugimoto's offer.

1969 May:We decided "KOBOTAN"in Shinjuku as meeting place and met every week and showed the films. ,"Gerald McBoine Boine". and others were screened. We framed a system of members and associate members and widely raised members.

Jul.:"Mr.Masaki Tsuji seminar"by the kindness of Mr.Tsuji who was famous scenario writer, we borrowed a meeting place of his apartment house, but put him trouble by unmannerly members. Oct.:Each circle in Tokyo, Shizuoka, Nagoya and Osaka assembled and after "the 1st Anime soukai/a General meeting"was held in Daijoji, Nagoya. Then "Anime soukai"was take round in each place to be held every year. Showing "The Collection of Puppets Animation",.

1978

We held substantially "Shinjuku Anime-Land"'s 11 program by the name of 'NIHON Animation Kyokai"that was in reactivity. The guests were Hiroshi Sasagawa, Taiji Yabushita, Akio Sugino, Tadao Nagahama, REnzo Kinoshita, Yoshi-kazu Yasuhiko, Sadao Miyamoto, yoichi Kotabe, yoji Kuri and Osamu Tezuka and so on. It's splendid members. In June, we held a lecture Meeting of Mr.Ward.Kimball,the Disney Legend. We cought Mr.Kimball traveled in Japan.And the secret(?) of Mickey's ear was opened to the public.
