Real Name: Saburo Tsuyuki Born in Hatsudai, Tokyo, in 1924. He had loved movies since his childhood. He was especially attracted by animated cartoon films and started to collect films. Although he had been through a lot of danger of World War II and fires, he always kept the best film collection in Japan. As well as doing the research on movies, he acted as an animator for a time. In his late years, he made his own animation film. He also contributed to the popularization of animated cartoons as a lecturer at universities of art and designing schools. He had been a supervisor of ANIDO since it was established.
