Born on september 25th, 1941, in Ueno-city ,Mie Prefecture Japan.

1959-1963
Entered the Osaka University of Foreign Language a major in spanish
and graduated
from the same.
Profession:
1963-1966
Worked with Yoji KURI in his company, Kuri Jikken Manga Kobo,as
an animator.
Resigned from the same, since then ,free-lance.
1970
Formed own studio, the Takun Jikken Manga Box.
1985
Changed studio's name to Takun-Box.
Established own company , Takun-Box Co.,Ltd.
Awards:
1972 The Best Of World Animation'72 at the Modern Museum Of NewYork
for
" HEAD SPOON".
1975 The Special Judges's Prize at the Annecy International Animation
Film Festival
for "PHENAKISTISCOPE".
1979 The 25th Bungei-Syunjyu Comics Award for the collection of
cartoons "THE
TAKUN HUMOR".
1981 The Mainichi Film Contest Nobuo OFUJI Prize for "SPEED".
1990 The 2nd Prize at the Hiroshima International Animatiom Film
Festival for
"TarZAN".
1994 The 1st Prize of Category C at the Hiroshima International
Animation Film
